One of the things I love most about the Caribbean is its rich history—you can feel it in the old forts, the music, the food, and the local stories passed down through generations. Every island has its own unique past, and I’m always looking for ways to learn more as I travel!

Besides hotels, resorts, and day trips, my favorite things to write about are Caribbean rum and deep-sea fishing.

There’s something special about visiting a local distillery, learning how the rum is made, and hearing the stories that connect each bottle to the island’s history. And when it comes to deep-sea fishing, I’m always ready to get out on the water—chasing big game fish and experiencing the thrill of the open sea!

My goal? To explore every single island in the Caribbean and share it all with you along the way.

A personal favorite destination is Saint Martin. Not only is it a stunning island to visit, but it’s also the perfect launchpad for day trips to Anguilla, St. Barths, St. Kitts and Nevis, Saba, and even the lesser-known Sint Eustatius (Statia).

I love how hopping from island to island lets you see just how different and unique each one is.
